Toy Story 3

I give the Movie a 2 1/4. Which from me is actually pretty generous.

It did have a few amusing parts, two or three that where actually funny. But in between those parts I was bored. Bored, bored, bored. But then I didnt like the first two at all so the fact that this one was almost ok means, at least to me, that they are getting better.

My hubby loved it, my friends liked it, my other friends liked it. My other other friends liked it too, so maybe it wasn't that bad. But then they all like the first ones.

Magic Thief

Juli's Book Rating * * * * (4 Stars)

"Never steal from a wizard!
Conn should have dropped dead the day he picked Nevery's pocket and stole the wizards locus magicalicus, a stone used to focus magic and work spells. But for some reason he did not. Astonished and intrigued, Nevery agrees to take Conn on as his apprentice, on the condition that the boy find a locus stone of his own within a month.

But with his wizard lesson and helping Nevery discover who - or what - is stealing the city of Wellmet's magic, time is running out for Conn to find his stone.

A cute story about a young thief who turns out to be an exceptional apprentice to a haggard wizard as they try to save the city and restore the levels of magic before not just the magic, but the entire city dies. Benet, the tender-hearted and loyal "brutal mercenary body-guard"is my favorite character.

Magic Thief is a really quick read, I started it last night and finished it in time to make dinner. Both interesting for adults but ok for younger readers.

Spellbinder

Juli's Book Rating * * * * (4 stars)

"Belladonna Johnson can see ghosts. It's a trait she's inherited from her mother's side of the family, like blue eyes or straight hair. And it's a trait she could do without, because what twelve-year-old wants to be caught talking to someone invisible?

It is convenient, though, after Belladonna's parents are killed in a car accident. They can live with her the same as always, watching the same old TV shows in their same old house. Nothing has changed...until everything changes.

One night, with no warning, they vanish into thin air-along with every other ghost in the world. It's what some people think ghosts are supposed to do, but Belladonna knows it's all wrong. They may not be living, but they're not supposed to be gone.

With the help of her classmate, Steve, a master of sneaking and spying, Belladonna is left to uncover whats become of the spirits and to navigate a whole world her parents have kept well-hidden. If she can't find her way, she'll lose them again - this time for good"

Both intriguing and humorous, this book has lovable characters and a cute storyline. The plot is not super in depth but it's frivolity makes it both fun to read and great for younger kids. And just as the story is ending you realize that while the problems and adventure are over for today, there are questions, loose ends, and more adventure to be tied up in coming sequels.

Defiantly a keeper.

Paris Wall Mural

Ok, really just a boring wall, but its so big it can be anything.
Well, the wall is big, the picture isnt, sorry about that. But still, anything!

And the anything I chose WAS:

"Paris Lights"

For anyone looking for a great mural my favorite place was "Wall Decor Shop"

And I want to thank HusbandMan for two things. First off letting me hang a huge mural of Paris in our living room and seconds, for doing the actual hanging of said mural. You're awesome
