My friend gave me a really cute piece of vintage fabric she got at a yard sale. Its a kinda light weight canvas with a vintage design red, black, and olive green on an ivory background.
The problem is I have no idea what to do with it yet. So I am looking for ideas. It's pretty large too, the top photo is a quarter of the entire piece
It would make a really nice shade or pillow cover. You could even do a lap quilt/blanket if you didn't want to cut it up.
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to cut it up too much, I was thinking a tote bag maybe. The entire piece of fabric is a little larger than a king sized bed.
ReplyDeleteMake a headboard? Frame it and put it on your wall? Use it as the top piece of a duvet cover?
ReplyDeleteI actually thought bag too, Juli. And then I thought CURTAINS! LOL! I think I vote for duvet, though, really. Sounds like it would make use of it the best.
